APRIL

•  4 th / 5 th April – “Astrophotography” Course

Theoretical/practical course for an overall introduction the techniques of imaging and digital elaborations.

•  12 nd April – The Saturday of the month: "What is the zodiac ?"

MAY

•  17 th February – The Saturday of the month: "The sky of the others. Constellations in different cultures"

JUNE

•  7 th June - The Saturday of the month: "light-years. A trip between stars and galaxies"

•  Archeo-astronomy Course

Theoretical and practical course illustrating the Aosta Valley 's most important archeo-astronomical sites.

JULY

•  12 nd July - The Saturday of the month: "The sky in summer time. The Milky Way when it is hot"

•  28 th July / 1 st August - Astronomy Summer School (5 th edition)

Saint-Barthélemy – course on practical astronomy for teachers in one of Europe 's best-equipped observatories. One week, after school hours, for teachers, a professional refresher and general star gazing training course.

AUGUST

•  11 th / 12 th August - "Etoiles et Musique"

Traditional date with the Perseids for an evening observation organised for the public.

•  16 th August - The Saturday of the month: "Partial Lunar eclipse"

•  29 th / 31 st August – Star Party and Summer conference

17th edition of Italy 's longest running STAR PARTY, organised with UAI.

SEPTEMBER

•  20 th September - The Saturday of the month: "Summer is ending and the equinox is arriving"

•  September / November – Cosmology course

Course at the OAVdA for an overall introduction to Cosmology. Lessons on Tuesdays.

OCTOBER

•  4 th October – The Saturday of the month: "The sky in Autumn time. The Andromeda's myth"
