Activities Welcome... Opening hours and activities. Opening hours :THE ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY The Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of the Aosta Valley, located in Nus, loc. Lignan, 39 - AO, Italy, offers pre-booked day or night time guided visits every day of the year (apart from mondays). For bookings telephone 0165 770050. Visiting times are the following: From 1st April to 30th September - Daytime visits from 16.30 - Night time visits from 21.30 From 1st October to 31st March - Daytime visits from 15.00 - Night time visits from 21.00
THE PLANETARIUM It is placed near the Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of the Aosta Valley (OAVdA) and the resulting complex is managed by the Fondazione Clément Fillietroz-ONLUS with funding from local administrations. The OAVdA opened in 2003, while the Planetarium in 2009. It works with a digital system from the French society RSA-Cosmos, based on 6 projectors and 8 computers. The inner diameter of the dome is 10 m and the lecture hall has 67 seats. For bookings telephone 0165 770050. Visiting times are the following: From 1st May to 30th June - Saturday at 3,00 p.m. and at 6 p.m. From 1st July 31st October - Saturday at 3,00 p.m. and at 6 p.m. - Sunday at 4,30 p.m. and at 6 p.m.
