Comunicazione ufficiale sulle visite guidate a luglio e agosto 2020
Informiamo che a luglio e agosto 2020 le visite guidate diurne e notturne per il pubblico all’Osservatorio Astronomico della Regione Autonoma Valle d’Aosta si terranno con nuove modalità, nel rispetto delle indicazioni degli organi competenti per il contenimento della pandemia COVID-19. In particolare:
– Le visite guidate riprendono mercoledì 1° luglio 2020
– La visita guidata diurna si svolge dalle ore 15.00 alle 16.00
– La visita guidata notturna si svolge dalle ore 22.00 (non 21.30) alle 23.30
– Per ragioni organizzative, le iniziative si svolgono esclusivamente in lingua italiana
– È necessaria la prenotazione obbligatoria sul sito www.oavda.it/osservatorio-prenotazioni scegliendo dal menù a tendina la visita guidata di interesse tra quelle disponibili in calendario
– Le iniziative si svolgono all’aperto: i partecipanti devono rispettare le norme su distanziamento fisico e mascherine, inoltre si ricorda di indossare un abbigliamento adeguato all’altitudine (1.675 m)
– Le iniziative si svolgono esclusivamente in caso di previsioni meteorologiche favorevoli: i partecipanti sono tenuti a visitare il sito www.oavda.it dove sarà indicato se la visita è confermata, con almeno due ore di anticipo rispetto all’orario d’inizio
– La visita guidata notturna prevede l’osservazione del cielo a occhio nudo, guidati da un operatore con uno speciale puntatore laser, mentre per motivi sanitari l’osservazione individuale all’oculare dei telescopi è sostituita dalla proiezione su schermo di riprese dei corpi celesti
– Ulteriori indicazioni di carattere logistico sono contenute nel messaggio di posta elettronica inviato ai partecipanti all’atto della prenotazione (controllare anche la cartella “Spam”)

Official communication on guided tours in July and August 2020
We inform you that in July and August 2020, daytime and nighttime guided tours for the public to the Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of the Aosta Valley will be held in a new way, in compliance with the indications of the competent authorities for the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular:
– Guided tours start again on Wednesday July 1st, 2020
– The daytime guided tour takes place from 15.00 to 16.00
– The nighttime guided tour takes place from 22.00 (not 21.30) to 23.30
– For organizational reasons, the initiatives are held exclusively in Italian
– Reservation is required at the website www.oavda.it/osservatorio-prenotazioni, choosing from the drop-down menu the guided tour of interest among those available on the calendar
– The initiatives take place outdoors: participants must comply with the rules on physical distancing and masks; also remember to wear clothing suitable for the altitude (1,675 m)
– The initiatives take place only in case of favorable weather forecasts: participants are required to visit the website www.oavda.it where it will be indicated, at least two hours in advance of the starting time, if the visit is confirmed
– The nighttime guided tour includes the observation of the sky with the naked eye, guided by an operator with a special laser pointer, while for sanitary reasons the individual observations at the eyepieces of the telescopes are replaced by the projection on screen of shots and pictures of the celestial bodies
– Further indications of practical nature are contained in the e-mail message sent to the participants at the time of reservation (check also the “Spam” folder)
